Accompanying the show is a special issue of Leonardo, the Journal of the International Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology. This issue serves as the show's catalog, including the original essays on digital culture and all exhibition artworks.

ANIMATION ENTRANTS
Work may be submitted for consideration on VHS (NTSC or PAL), 3/4" U-Matic, or Beta SP in NTSC and must be clearly labeled. Sorry, we cannot accept SECAM formats. Work that is selected for exhibition must be submitted on Beta SP or 3/4" NTSC format only. Submissions MUST INCLUDE CREDITS.
Entries must also include up to four PRODUCTION STILLS of the work. Work submitted without production stills will not be considered! You must submit 35mm slides or TIFF images 3" x 4" @ 300 dpi MINIMUM for your work to be considered. Each slide/TIFF file must have the title of the work, date, and your name clearly marked on it. Unlabeled slides and files will be rejected.
End credits exceeding 15 seconds duration may be curtailed by the New York Digital Salon. Please provide copyright permissions if using any material (scores, etc.) produced by another artist.
Entries must also include up to four 35mm slides of the work. You must submit slides for your work to be considered. Each slide must
have the title of the work, date, and your name clearly marked on it. Unlabeled slides will be rejected.

Please include the following. ENTRIES WITHOUT APPROPRIATE MAILING ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED: Name, Address, Phone number / Fax number, Email address, current resume, and artist's statement and synopsis of work (500-1000 words; please attach both digital file and paper copy.)
The New York Digital Salon reserves the right to use all accepted entry materials for publicity and promotional purposes. Accepted work will be published in a special issue of the journal Leonardo and also on the World Wide Web in addition to being exhibited in all official New York Digital Salon venues.
